My thoughts on the new "
Deal or No Deal" TV show on NBC starring Howie Mandel
I must tell you about a game that my wife and I watch like clockwork every Monday and Friday night on TV and it is coming back next month. The show is "Deal or No Deal game", this TV show is hosted by Howie Mandel who I haven't heard from in a long time and I must say, it's great to have him back. He might have been doing things but I didn't hear much until this new tv show Deal or No Deal.
I am not sure where you would get an application for for the No Deal Deal show but it would definitely be fantastic to be a contestant on the show and play. If you are picked to be on the show, you would not only be able to meet a great star like Howie Mandel but also play to win BIG money. I think this show pays out alot more money than any show I've seen. The majority of the winners that I have seen all get large pay outs. People are really learning that playing the game does take skill and you also need to know how far you should go and press your luck with the banker that calls down but I'll get into that more further down in my deal or no deal tv show article.
Basically, this show is about 26 suitcases that you must open. It all starts off with the beautiful models from Deal or No Deal coming out on the steps and on the stage. Each TV show model (who were actually mentioned in People Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful edition) come out with a suitcase each. The suitcases goe from 1 to 26. Each suitcase contains a sum of money that the contestant will pick. Howie will first ask the player to pick one suitcase from the 26. This suitcase will stay up on the table where the player is playing from.
On the board the following Deal or No deal amounts are displayed:

It is the hope of the player that they will have a large amount of money in their suitcase. They will be able to get an idea of what may be in their suitcase because they will start to play and pick a suitcase by choosing 1-26. Each round, the deal or no deal game gives the contestant the number of suitcases in which they need to open before "The Banker" of Deal or no deal calls down to make them an offer to buy back the suitcase they have on the table. It is the goal of the banker to have the player leave with the lowest amount of money. So let's say that the contestant starts off opening 6 cases (round 1), the banker will then call down to make an offer on the suitcase. The player will then have the choice to close the case on the deal or no deal button. If they choose no deal, the game goes on and Howie tells the player the amount of cases the player must open before the next banker deal. If there is ever a time that one of the big numbers are open from 100k to 1 million, the bank offer will not be as much since the odds of the player going home with that amount decreases.
At one point, Howie brings out the player's family or friends on the stage consisting of three (3) people. Each time it comes down to the deal or no dea question, they offer their support to the player. Everyone loves bagging on the banker and it is alot of fun. You can see the banker up in a window and really only his silouhoute and his head-set on, probably one of the funniest ideas for the Deal or No Deal show.
If you are like me and like to play games online that are like the actually game show, you can play this deal - no deal game Online! There is a Flash game on the NBC site that you can play online. It is really good and alot of fun. I find myself playing this in work and I probably shouldn't. This online deal or no deal flash game was really well constructed.
Now I know you are asking yourself, Dave, why would I want to play online when I can apply as a contestant and be on the real NBC TV show instead? Well, you have a good point, it would be nice to be a contestant on the show and find the deal no deal application, I agree.
You can play the online game which does not pay any money at: http://www.nbc.com/Deal_or_No_Deal/game
Also, during the NBC TV show, you can play the deal or no deal show online OR I believe also call in. The amount of money is 10,000 and the winner is announced at the end of the show. I think you will really enjoy this TV show. NBC has done a phenomianl job with combining a great show and an excellent personality to represent the show. Enjoy it with the family and thank you for taking the time to read my article.
